Kristin Grimoskas ~ 10 Years of Service!

Please join us in congratulating Kristin Grimoskas for 10 years of service at ADM!

Kristin Grimoskas is a 5th Grade Math & Science Teacher at DeSoto Intermediate School.  She received her Elementary Education degree from University of Northern Iowa and her Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Northern Iowa.

Kristin was born and raised in Tipton, IA.  Growing up, she feels fortunate to have been surrounded by some amazing educators.  Her mom, dad, grandma, aunt, and cousins are all educators.  Even though teaching was all around her, she grew up convinced that she wouldn’t become a teacher.  Teaching found her along the way, though, and she feels fortunate to have paid attention to signs guiding her to choose this path.  She still feels that signs continue to show up for her in meaningful ways, often at just the right time, reminding her why she chose this path.

She chose ADM because her sister-in-law (4th Grade Teacher at Meadow View Elementary) convinced her to teach at ADM with her.  ADM was Kristin’s first teaching role since graduating college in 2015.  She stays with ADM because of the amazing people she has the pleasure of working alongside.  She also feels fortunate to have built meaningful relationships with so many students and families over the years and feels honored to be part of her students’ journeys; to help them grow into strong, amazing humans and learners.

When Kristin is not in the classroom, she loves spending time with her family and friends and being an aunt.  She also loves traveling, watching Survivor, swimming, working out, reading, and baking.

Thank you, Kristin Grimoskas, for your enthusiasm and your 10 years of service with ADM!
