Michaela Wolfe ~ 5 Years of Service!

Please join us in congratulating Michaela Wolfe for 5 years of service at ADM! 

Michaela serves ADM as an Associate and Office Assistant at DeSoto Intermediate.  Prior to coming to ADM, she was a lead manager at a daycare in Ankeny for 6 years before she and her family moved to Adel.  

Michaela was born and raised in Ankeny, IA. She is currently enrolled in DMACCs Elementary Education Transfer Degree program, where she is in the Honors program.  She has been accepted into University of Northern Iowa where she plans to finish her teaching degree.  

Michaela has always loved working with kids and wanted to work in a school because she wanted to feel like she makes a difference in others’ lives.  She chose ADM because her husband is an alumni and her daughter is an ADM student.  Michaela greatly appreciates the small town community feel that ADM has.  Regarding this, she shares, “I love that my daughter's 5th grade teacher was also my husband's teacher!  Just the small town feel and how close you can get to everyone is my favorite.”  

She stays at ADM because she loves the kids that she’s been able to get to know and the relationships she has been able to build with them.  They are the reason she is pursuing her teaching degree.  One of Michaela’s favorite things about her role is seeing students from her first year at ADM who still come up to her and say hi to her.  She shares it is a great feeling knowing they still remember her even though they are in high school.  

MichaelaI owns a chicken farm and an egg business.  Additionally, she and her husband bought a repossession company this past spring.  So when she is not doing homework, she is likely working at the shop or with her chickens.  During the summer, Michaela enjoys going camping and boating with her family.
