Jessie Perry ~ 5 Years of Service!

Please join us in congratulating Jessie Perry for 5 years of service at ADM!

Jessie is a 6th Grade ELA and Social Studies Teacher and a PLC Leader at DeSoto Intermediate School.  She was born in Des Moines, IA and raised in Adel.  After graduating, she went to Simpson College where she majored in Marketing and Corporate Communications.  Jessie later returned to school to receive her Elementary Education degree from Upper Iowa University.

Jessie and her husband are both proud ADM alumni.  They moved around a bit while he was in the military, but they always knew they wanted to return to raise their four children in the ADM community.  Prior to returning to Adel and teaching for ADM, Jessie taught 1st grade for 2 years at Tukes Valley Primary School in Battleground, WA.  She then taught 4th and 5th grade for 2 years at McCallister Elementary School in Richmond Hill, GA.  When her husband retired from the military they were excited to come back home to their hometown of Adel.

Jessie has known since a young age that she was meant to be a teacher.  She comes from a family of educators and feels she was destined to follow in the footsteps of many of her family members.  She loves having the opportunity to play a small role in so many young people's lives and be a part of their education journey.  She also appreciates having the opportunity to work where she went to school.  She feels it is even more special to be at the same school with her children.

When asked why she stays with ADM, Jessie stated, “I truly feel valued and feel that I'm making a positive impact at ADM.  I work with amazing colleagues, fantastic families, and awesome students at ADM!”  Her favorite part about her role at ADM is the people she works with.

Thank you, Jessie Perry, for your enthusiasm and your 5 years of service to ADM!
