Ashlee Nichols ~ 5 Years of Service!

Please join us in congratulating Ashlee Nichols for 5 years of service at ADM!

Ashlee is a 5th and 6th Grade Math Interventionist at DeSoto Intermediate School who is celebrating 5 years with ADM this year.  She was born and raised in Nevada, IA and went to Iowa State University for her undergraduate studies and received her Masters in Teaching from Morningside College.  Prior to coming to ADM, Ashlee taught 6th Grade Math and Science for Algona Middle School and North Union Middle School.  This is Ashlee’s 12th year in her teaching career.

Ashlee wanted to become a teacher because working with kids brings her joy and it is something she loves doing every single day.  She chose ADM because of the reputation for greatness and she stays because of the culture among her coworkers, the support from her administrators, and the commitment to excellence in the district.

Ashlee shared that what she enjoys most about her current role at ADM is continually reviewing and analyzing data to ensure we are meeting the needs of our students.  She stated, "I enjoy using data to identify opportunities, measure our impact, and help make informed decisions that ultimately support student success.”

Outside of work, Ashlee enjoys spending time with her family and being involved in her kids’ activities.  She also loves volunteering and coaching their teams, challenging herself with a mentally tough workout, and spending as much time outside in the sunshine as possible.  Summers at the lake are one of her favorite ways to recharge, make memories, and enjoy time with the people she loves.

Thank you, Ashlee Nichols for your dedication and your 5 years of service with ADM Schools!
