Please join us in congratulating Erin Hermann for 5 years of service with ADM this year!

Erin is a Math Teacher and PLC Leader at ADM High School.  She was born and raised in Battle Creek, IA.  Erin received her BA from Simpson College and her MA from UNI.  Mrs. Herrmann is starting her 11th year in her teaching career.  Prior to ADM, Erin taught math at Glenwood High School for 2 years and Creston Middle School for 3 years.

Mrs. Herrmann has always had a passion for math and was inspired to become a teacher so she could make the same positive impact on her students that her teachers made on her.  When asked what she loves most about her role at ADM, Erin shared, “I enjoy working with our students. They are respectful, motivated, and engaged, which allows us to focus on what matters most—teaching and learning.”

Erin chose ADM because of its strong reputation as an excellent school that values and supports continuous professional growth and learning for its teachers.  She stays at ADM because of the people.  Regarding this, she shared, “The outstanding staff, inspiring leaders, incredible students, and welcoming community that make it such a great place to be.”

In Erin’s free time, she enjoys gardening and taking walks with her 5-month-old daughter and 5-year-old black Lab.  Erin’s husband has proudly served as a police officer with the Adel Police Department for seven years, and they both feel fortunate to serve and support our community.

Thank you, Erin Herrmann, for your enthusiasm and for your 5 years of service with ADM!
