Amanda Dosedel ~ 5 Years of Service!

Please join us in congratulating Amanda Dosedel for 5 years of service at ADM!

Amanda is a 6th Grade Math and Science Teacher at DeSoto Intermediate.  She received her Bachelors in Elementary Education from University of Northern Iowa and her Masters in Elementary Mathematics from Northwestern State University.

Amanda was born and raised in Huntley, IL.  She has known she wanted to be a teacher ever since she was a little girl.  She grew up helping her mom in her classroom and teaching has always come natural to her.  She claims she had many teachers while she was growing up who made learning fun and engaging.  She knew she wanted to do the same thing.

Amanda could tell right away when she interviewed with ADM that this was the right place for her.  She said it was obvious to her that ADM was a welcoming community that put students at the center, and she wanted to work in a district where she could grow as a teacher while providing high quality education for her students.

She stays with ADM because of the staff, students, and the community.  She has a lot of sincere appreciation for her team at DeSoto.  Regarding this team, she states, “I built relationships with my team that turned into friendships, and I enjoy working with them everyday!”

Her favorite thing about her role as a 6th grade teacher is watching her students gain confidence in their abilities, and celebrating their growth and success throughout the year.  She loves being able to teach math and science to spark joy and curiosity in her students.

Outside of work, Amanda likes traveling all around the world, playing card games, and spending time with her friends, her family, and her dog.

Thank you, Amanda Dosedel, for your enthusiasm and for your 5 years of service with ADM!
