New Teacher Spotlight: Welcome Amber Wetzel!

ADM Middle School is pleased to welcome Amber Wetzel as an Art Teacher this year.  Amber is beginning her 22nd year teaching this year and comes to us from Guthrie Center (AC/GC).  She received her teaching degree from Briar Cliff University.  

Amber chose ADM because of its strong values and the warm welcome she felt from day one.  She became an art teacher because she wanted to share her love of art and to create a safe space where students feel valued, confident, and excited to learn.  She feels it’s important that all children have someone who believes in them, encourages them, and celebrates their growth and successes.   

Outside of work, Amber likes spending time with her husband and two children; camping, kayaking, or just relaxing at home.  She also loves to travel and explore new places with them..
