Jennifer Hopkins is starting her 15th year teaching and is excited to join DeSoto Intermediate School as a 5th Grade ELA Teacher.  Prior to ADM, Jennifer taught for the Diocese of Des Moines.  She is a graduate of Iowa State University. 


Jennifer enjoys hiking, reading, shopping, and spending time with her family.  She moved to DeSoto 2 years ago and is very excited to teach in her home district.  


Jennifer wanted to be a teacher because she loves helping students learn and do things beyond what they believed they could achieve on their own.
