New Teacher Spotlight: Welcome Abbi Hood!

Abbi Hood joins ADM as a Kindergarten Teacher at Adel Elementary School.  She graduated from William Penn University and is starting her 4th year of teaching.  She taught for Creston Community School District prior to joining ADM. 

Education has always been part of Abbi’s family.  She has many family members who are or were teachers and her father is a superintendent.  When asked why she wanted to be a teacher, Abbi shared, “I always knew as a child that this was the profession I belonged in and I would always have my family of mentors and role models to rely on.”

Abbi chose ADM because of the dedication to high-quality instruction to all students and the commitment to creating a nurturing and supportive environment for all learners. 

Abbi enjoys shopping, hanging out with friends and family, and watching crime shows and movies with her boyfriend.  Help us give a warm ADM welcome to Abbi Hood!
