New Teacher Spotlight: Welcome Jerry Hlas!

Jerry Hlas joins ADM this year as a Math Interventionist at ADM Middle School!  He is an ADM alumni who lives in Adel, and all 4 of his children are ADM graduates.  Jerry taught for DCG prior to coming to ADM and feels that ADM is the perfect landing for him after 34 years. 

Jerry attended Simpson College and Drake University.  He wanted to become a teacher because he enjoyed school and was inspired by many teachers and coaches.  Regarding his time as an ADM student, Jerry recalled, “Mr. Van Haaften taught all of my 7-12 grade math classes.  He was amazing!” 

In his free time, Jerry enjoys golfing and fishing.  Help us give a warm ADM welcome to Jerry Hlas!
