New Teacher Spotlight: Welcome Rebecca Findlay!

Rebecca Findlay is a graduate from Simpson College.  She comes to us from the ACGC School District and is entering her 11th year of teaching.  Mrs. Findlay will be joining our DeSoto Intermediate School teaching team as a 5th Grade Math & Science Teacher this year.


Rebecca wanted to be a teacher because she loves helping kids learn, grow, and become confident in who they are.  She and her husband have lived in Adel for the last 4 years and Mrs. Findlay states that she is very excited to teach in such a great community.  


When Rebecca is not teaching, she loves running marathons, playing sand volleyball, watching movies with her husband, and snuggling with her dog.
