New Teacher Spotlight: Welcome Lexi Bird!

Lexi Bird begins her first (full) year of teaching this year.  She joined the special education team at Adel Elementary School in the latter part of the 2025-26 school year and we are excited to have Lexi return to AE this year.

Lexi is a graduate of University of Nebraska-Omaha.  She wanted to be a teacher because she felt inspired by teachers that she had while growing up who made a lasting impression on her.  ADM was her choice because she values a collaborative environment where educators work closely together to support student success.

When Lexi is not working at school, she enjoys playing pickleball, reading, and playing with her new puppy!
