The ADM Middle School 7th graders took their learning beyond the page! After an in-depth study of The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton, students explored key literary concepts such as plot structure, character development, and foreshadowing.

The unit concluded with a themed dress-up day where students chose to represent either the Greasers or the Socs, followed by a viewing of the movie. Students reflected on their comparison of how the story was told across both media.

Experiences like these show how powerful and engaging literature can be when students are given the chance to step into the story! #staygoldponyboy
