ADM Community School District Ranked 3rd Highest Performing K-12 District in Iowa!

The Adel DeSoto Minburn (ADM) Community School District proudly announces that it has earned a “High Performing” rating on the Iowa School Performance Profiles and ranks as the 3rd highest performing K-12 school district in the state of Iowa.
Furthermore, ADM is one of only two districts statewide serving more than 2,000 students where all school buildings achieved a “High Performing” rating or higher, a testament to the district's consistent excellence across every level.
The Iowa School Performance Profiles, an online accountability tool developed by the Iowa Department of Education, provides transparent, comprehensive data on public schools and districts. It meets both federal and state requirements for school report cards and includes overall performance ratings at the district and school levels, as well as breakdowns by student groups. Districts and schools are evaluated based on key measures, including:
Student academic growth and achievement
Graduation rates
Attendance
Postsecondary readiness
Work-based learning opportunities
“The Iowa School Performance Profiles serve as the primary comprehensive tool for evaluating districts and school buildings,” said Greg Dufoe, Superintendent of ADM Schools. “Our mission is to ensure that all students learn at high levels, and these results provide powerful confirmation of that commitment. Earning a ‘High Performing’ rating and ranking as the third highest K-12 district in Iowa reflects the success of our Radical Reset initiative, which has driven unprecedented student achievement. We want families across Iowa to know: If you entrust your child to ADM, we will do everything in our power to help them learn at high levels before they graduate.”
Travis Wilkins, Assistant Superintendent, emphasized the collaborative effort behind the results: “We are laser-focused on delivering real results for students. Thanks to the dedication of our teachers, staff, students, and families, we’ve seen remarkable gains in achievement. For example, last year only 5% of ADM High School students were not proficient on the state ISASP English Language Arts assessment. While we’re not yet at 100% proficiency, we move closer every year. By adopting high-quality instructional materials across all grade levels, providing evidence-based interventions for struggling learners, and implementing multi-tiered systems of support in every building, we’ve transformed outcomes. Just a few years ago, 25% of ADM students in grades PK-12 were not proficient in reading and writing; last year, that figure dropped to 12%. Our mission declares that all students will learn at high levels and we won’t be satisfied until we achieve it.”
These outstanding results highlight ADM’s ongoing commitment to academic excellence, continuous improvement, and student success. Families and community members can view the full Iowa School Performance Profiles at www.iaschoolperformance.gov.
