Liz Anderson celebrates 10 years of service with ADM this year!

Liz has completed 10 years of her teaching career at ADM, collectively.  She taught 2nd grade and kindergarten for 5 years at Adel Elementary, and she spent 5 years as a 2nd grade teacher for the Frankfurt International School in Germany before returning to ADM in 2000 as Assistant Principal for Adel Elementary and Meadow View Elementary.  She is starting her 15th year of her career in education this year.

Liz was born and raised in Burlington, IA and she attended college at Iowa State University (BA) and University of Iowa (MA).  She wanted to be a teacher because she loved working with young students and seeing the light bulb go on when they learned something new.

The reason Liz chose ADM was because she completed her student teaching with this district and saw what a solid system was in place during that experience.  When asked why she stays with ADM, Liz stated, “ADM's strong community is what keeps me here.  I enjoy going to work each day and am proud to work for the ADM district.”

Liz has 3 young boys with lots of energy that keep her very busy.  She and her family enjoy being outside, cheering on the Cyclones, and trying new recipes together.

Thank you, Liz Anderson, for 10 years of service with ADM!
