Becki Green is a preschool associate at Adel Elementary School as well as a bus driver for the ADM district.  She was born and raised in Waterloo through 6th grade, then moved to Des Moines.  She attended DMACC, majoring in Early Childhood Education.  

Prior to ADM, Becki worked as a daycare/preschool teacher and director for 25 years.  This year Becki celebrates her 5th year at ADM and her 30th year in education.  Becki initially chose a profession in education in order to stay close to her 4 children when they were young.  She stayed in education in order to be close to her grandbabies.  In addition to her desire to remain close to her family, Becki stays at ADM because she loves the relationships she has made, both with her coworkers and with the students she works with.  As she states, “It lights up my heart watching and helping young children learn!”

Outside of work, Becki enjoys gardening, reading, watching movies, and doing anything with her family!
