Iowa has laws that define Chronic Absenteeism and Truancy and outline required intervention measures schools must take to address student attendance.

Bullying and/or harassment of or by students, employees, and volunteers is against federal, state, and local policy and is not tolerated by the board.

ADM uses a progressive discipline scale to identify the minimum consequence that students can expect in response to inappropriate behavior.

All districts in Iowa are required to have policies in place to respond to threats or incidents of violence that occur in the school setting.
