Welcome to ADM Kindergarten Registration. In order to attend Kindergarten, incoming students must be 5 years old on or before September 15th of 2021. Registration is a multi-step process with different directions depending on your status and scenario. Please contact Rikki Kuhns at rkuhns@admschools.org or (515) 993-4283 ext. 7060 with registration questions or to set up an appointment to register in person. 

Directions: Select the following “status” that best describes the student you are registering for kindergarten and click the link to view specific registration directions:

 

“ADM Preschool Family”            

  • Your child currently attends 4 year old preschool at ADM.

“ADM Prekindergarten Family”

  • Your child currently attends Prekindergarten at ADM

“New Family to ADM”                

  • You currently have NO children enrolled in the ADM School District.

“Existing ADM Family”                 

  • You currently have children enrolled in the ADM School District.

Timeline

  • January 14, 2021: Kindergarten Registration Opens
    • Please register during January and February to ensure you receive all communication related to kindergarten screening in preparation for your child to attend kindergarten at ADM.
  • Late March:  Kindergarten Screening Email
    • The email will include:
      • Information on the prekindergarten and kindergarten programs
      • Information on kindergarten screening
      • A parent questionnaire to complete providing additional information on your child
      • A sign up for your child’s kindergarten screening time
  • April 26th & 27th, 2021: Kindergarten Screening
    • All children eligible to attend Kindergarten will attend both screening dates

Open Enrollment

The ADM Board of Education approved a resolution that closed new open enrollments into ADM for the 2020-21 school year. The Board will make a determination of open enrollment status for the 2021-22 school year later this spring. If you wish to attend ADM Schools but do not live within the district boundaries, please complete and submit the 2021-22 open enrollment application to Debbie Stiles at dstiles@admschools.org. If approved for open enrollment, you will then be directed to proceed with the online registration process.
