ADM Schools provides students with access to a library in each building, with two full time teacher librarians shared between our schools. Please read below for information about each teacher librarian and the buildings that they serve.

Hello! My name is Jacque Seidl and I love getting to be the 5-12 librarian serving both DeSoto Intermediate and the MS/HS buildings. Helping students find their new favorite book is my favorite part of my job.
I started teaching at ADM in 2008 and have loved watching my family grow up as Tigers! My husband, Chris, and I have 3 kids: Alexa, Brenna, and Cohen. After school, you’ll find me coaching the HS Speech team or cheering on my kids at all of the ADM events. Outside of school, I enjoy kayaking, reading, and cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Adel Elementary | Meadow View Elementary
Hello! My name is Mrs. Banks and I serve as the PS-4 librarian at both Adel Elementary and Meadow View Elementary. I joined ADM in 2018 and enjoy reading to kids and helping them find books they love each day at school! At home I love reading, watching sports and cooking with my husband.

Parent Request That Students Not Check Out Certain Library Materials
ADM Board Policy 605.03 states that parents or guardians of students enrolled in the district have the ability to request that their student not be able to check out certain library materials. ADM parents who would like to request that their student not check out certain library materials should complete the following form and submit it to ADM’s Superintendent at the District Administration Center, 215 North 11 St, Adel, IA 50003.
