Melodie Braun is a graduate from Northwestern College (B.A.) and Morningside College (M.A.) and will be joining ADM Middle School this year as a Special Education Teacher.
For Melodie, when asked what made her want to become a teacher, she claims, “There was never anything else I wanted to be. I’ve always loved working with kids. As I’ve learned more about content over the years, I’ve developed a love of instructional planning that keeps me excited to teach every day.” As to her reason for choosing ADM, Melodie is a parent of two children attending ADM schools, and she feels that the teachers and administrators have been amazing to work with. She states, “Joining ADM as a teacher allows me to develop my skills as a special education instructor and be a part of a team that works to ensure all students are learning at high levels.” Outside of school, Melodie loves spending time with her family, listening to audiobooks, and going out for coffee.
