ADM hosted our seventh annual Experiencing Success Today Conference on Friday, February 9.
We opened the day with the musical talents of ADM HS Jazz Choir performers, with teachers clapping along to the rhythm. The conference brought education leader and author Joe Sanfelippo to the district, where we were challenged to impact the narrative of our school by telling the real story, helping to create a narrative that builds culture and gives everyone in our community an identity.
Breakout sessions followed including everything from AI in Education, Math Fact Fluency, WeVideo Tips and Tricks, Responding to Dyslexia in the Classroom, Finding Your Strand on the Reading Rope, and more. Breakout sessions gave us the opportunity to learn from the experts we’re surrounded by every day–educators in our district who know and do amazing work with our students–and experts from our Area Education Agency, IPERS, and Employee and Family Resources, who supported our learning by sharing their expertise.
We look forward to another year of learning with the experts in our district and continuing to have conversations that move us forward in our work in 2025.
