Three Desoto Intermediate students will have their art displayed publicly after competing in a state-wide art competition! Charlotte Miller, KJ Shogren and Tylan Vang all won top finishes in the youth art month show (YAM)! All three winners will be featured in a state-wide art show throughout March at Jordan Creek Mall. Charlotte Miller’s artwork was chosen for the “Governor’s Show” and will be displayed at the Governor’s offices in the Iowa Capitol building. Her art was 1 of 25 total pieces selected from grades K-12 across the state of Iowa. She will have the opportunity to meet with the Governor and other governor show winners.
