ADM Biomedical students explore a variety of medical careers while working together to solve medical mysteries, practice clinical skills, learn human anatomy, and diagnose diseases.

A 2023 Grant from the Dallas County Foundation is supporting the work of these Biomedical students with updated technology and new materials.  Students are using new gel electrophoresis machines to both separate stands of DNA and view them under fluorescent light.  This enables students to investigate mock crime scenes and diagnose genetic conditions.

In addition, students can now connect a wide variety of biometric measurement tools directly to their computers as they track heart rate, temperature, respirations, and more.

Thank you to the Dallas County Foundation for Supporting scientists and future healthcare professionals at ADM High School
