ADM Families,
Earlier this afternoon the ADM Board of Education approved the instructional hours make up plan that was shared with families on Tuesday.
The key aspects of the make-up plan include the following:
- Adel Elementary, Meadow View Elementary, ADM Middle School, ADM High School:
- Dismissal Time Change on May 26: The last day of school, May 26, will change from a 1:00 to 2:30 dismissal time in order to make up minutes and meet the minimum number of instructional hours required by the state of Iowa.
- DeSoto Intermediate:
- Last Day of School Changes to May 30 and Releases at 3:30PM: The last day of school for DeSoto Intermediate will change from Friday, May 26 at 1:00 to Tuesday, May 30, at 3:30. This is only one additional day of attendance at the end of the year.
- Remaining Friday Early Releases Extended to Full Days Releasing at 3:30PM: Starting this Friday, April 28, all remaining Friday’s at DeSoto Intermediate will change from 1:00 early release to an extended day of school releasing at 3:30PM.
