Last week, students at Meadow View got to go to the quarterly assembly. The focus during this time was on kindness and sportsmanship. We know that playing a game at recess, in the gym, in class, or outside of school can get competitive. The important part is that we show kindness and sportsmanship, even when things don’t go our way.
Some students and staff members participated in a game called “head, shoulders, knees, toes, cone”. Each time someone lost, they cheered on the person that beat them. Both the children and staff had a lot of fun, as you can see from the photos!
At Meadow View, we strive to show kindness and sportsmanship each day!
