Every Tuesday-Thursday, High School students have Power Hour from 1:30-1:55pm which is personalized instruction and intervention time to help all of our students at all levels. Once a month teachers offer Enrichment during this time. Enrichment gives students an opportunity to learn something beyond what’s offered in our classrooms or in addition to our main lessons that enriches student learning, allowing students to explore their interests!
In September our students had the opportunity to participate in these activities (just to name a few!): Ms. Allbee offered origami crafting, Mr. Mueller’s room played guitar, Mrs. Herrmann did a fall coloring activity, Ms. Lifka-Reselman’s room created buttons in honor of the National Parks’ “fat bear week”, and Mrs. Gettler had the students create pumpkins out of scrap wood and other craft materials.
