High school students stopped by when the Adel Public Library was here and got their own Adel Public Library cards! Not only do public library cards allow kids access to check out items, they also receive access to online streaming services and audiobooks/ebooks right from their phones or computers.
Each ADM 9th-12th grade student created a reading goal for the 2022-23 school year. Our librarian, Mrs. Seidl, compiled all the goals resulting in a total HS goal of 5,250 books. With roughly 650 students in the high school, our goal averages out to 8 books per student. Students will be tracking their progress each month by filling out a Google Form with the hopes of reaching our goal by May! We’ll report back how we do!!
