What a great first two weeks at Adel Elementary! The list could go on and on, but here are some highlights:
– students seeing familiar faces and making new friends
– positive classroom cultures being established
– students taking part in the classroom and school rules/expectations
– practicing our fire, severe weather, and lockdown drills
– smooth arrival and dismissal procedures
– Mrs. Anderson teaching about “Work Hard, Play Safe, Be Kind” and seeing students already taking these skills and demonstrating them throughout the building
– 50+ preschool students within four sections
