Tiger Time is a special time in our day where students are engaged in research based interventions that target their individual needs. During this time, students from different classrooms with similar instructional needs work in small groups for roughly 20 minutes with a focus on mastering early literacy skills.
Some of the interventions for students include:
– syllable deletion/picture card sort
– onset-rime/word boxes
– onset-rime /sound boxes
– six minute solutions
– manipulating sounds/word mix-up
