Please join us in congratulating Missy McCann for 10 years of consecutive service at ADM!
Missy is starting her tenth year in education. Missy was born in Iowa City, Iowa and moved to Adel when she was six weeks old. She graduated from ADM in the spring of 1993. Missy attended DMACC and received her associates degree in nursing. She then went on to receive her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University. Missy is currently the Nurse at Adel Elementary. Prior to coming to ADM, Missy was a nursing supervisor at ChildServe Continuing Care Unit. Missy wanted to work in the schools so she could help families that have kids with health needs to have a smooth and safe transition to a school setting.
Missy chose to stay at ADM because of the great students and families, along with support and trust from administration. When asked about what she enjoys most at ADM, Missy shared, “100% the kids – they are AWESOME!” In her free time, Missy enjoys being with her family, reading, and playing with her pets.
