Please join us in congratulating Jessica Hait for 10 years of consecutive service at ADM!

Jessica was born and raised in Mason City, Iowa. She is an Iowa State graduate with a degree in elementary education and endorsements in Language Arts and Reading. Before teaching at ADM she spent 7 years at St. Anthony’s in Des Moines.

Jessica became a teacher because of the positive influence that her parents modeled for her. Her dad was a school psychologist and her mom was an elementary teacher. They always placed a high value on education. She remembers seeing them interact with current and former students and families in such positive ways and she loved witnessing the impacts they had made on the lives of others.

What drew Jessica to ADM was the influence of a fellow colleague and friend at St. Anthony’s, Sarah Knute. When Sarah moved to ADM she always had such positive things to say about the district. When an opportunity arose here, Jessica jumped on the opportunity and hasn’t looked back. She has continued to stay at ADM because of the people. As she states “The staff is incredibly dedicated and such a pleasure to work with. The students and families are wonderful and I couldn’t imagine a better place to come to work”.

She loves spending time with fifth graders! “They are so much fun. From the moment they enter my classroom, they become part of my school family. I love being able to watch them grow and learn. There is nothing better than former students coming back for a visit.”

In her free time, she loves spending time with her husband and (almost) two-year-old daughter. They  love to attend Iowa State football games, travel, and stay as busy as possible.

Please help us thank Jessica for her support and service to the ADM community.
