DeSoto Intermediate students and staff kicked off STEAM Week on Monday, January 25th. STEAM Week provides students the opportunity to participate in activities centered around science, technology, engineering, art and math. This year’s theme is “Be a Maker,” and students will use their creativity to be “makers” of maps, blueprints, towers, and smiles in their classrooms. Additionally, at-home activities have been planned and provided for students to share in STEAM learning with their families.
