DeSoto staff and students attended a PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Support) assembly that focused on the DeSoto Intermediate expectations of ROARing:
- Respecting Others
- Always Safe
- Be Responsible
This assembly targeted positive sportsmanship and encouragement of others in a hoop hop activity After learning about various ways they can exhibit respectful behaviors when participating in cooperative game, students from two different classes came together to play this modified paper/rock/scissors relay game. Great fun was had by all during this safe and positive celebration.
