Kindergarteners at Adel Elementary are budding writers! Every day students are provided the opportunity to take the writing skills they learn in mini lesson and apply it directly to independent work of their choice. Students choose their own topics, and because they get to follow their interests, engagement is high! When you walk into a kindergarten classroom, you will see students writing sentences, using their sight words in their writing, and creating detailed illustrations that match their text. Writing time is a favorite for all at Adel Elementary!
