Natasha Smith joins ADM as a fifth grade teacher at DeSoto Intermediate. Natasha graduated from Iowa State University and is starting her first year of teaching.
Natasha chose ADM because of the collaborative and welcoming environment and the clear focus of the district on student learning, success, and progress. Natasha wanted to become a teacher since she was in second grade and credits her own second grade teacher as being the first person to push her outside of her box and to inspire her. Due to the perseverance, excitement, and students connections of her second grade teacher, she has found a passion for helping young minds strive for excellence and creating deep, meaningful student-teacher relationships.
In her free time, Natasha enjoys spending time with friends and family, four-wheeling, caring for her “little acreage”, traveling, photography, and cooking. Help us give a warm ADM welcome to Natasha Smith!
