A junior-senior reading class at ADM High School recently finished reading Purple Heart by Patricia McCormick. The reading of Purple Heart led to great in-class discussions about the daily struggles faced by soldiers deployed in the middle east. To show their support and gratitude, the students in the class would like to end the year by sending a care package to a soldier currently deployed in that part of the world.
Would you like to help? ADM High School is currently accepting donations of care-package appropriate snacks, personal hygiene items, letters, and diversions to be sent as a part of the care package. Donations are being collected through May 20th and can be delivered to the High School office or arranged for pick up by contacting Mrs. Longman or Mrs. Whisner. To arrange items for pick up, please contact:
- Mrs. Molly Longman: atmlongman@adm.k12.ia.us
- Mrs. Gloria Whisner: gwhisner@adm.k12.ia.us.
Monetary donations also welcome but must be made at the High School Office.
