Throughout the year, all Adel Elementary and DeSoto Intermediate students are invited to a special celebration to honor their birthdays (or half birthdays) called Birthday Buddies. Students join Mrs. Anderson, Mrs. Banse, or Mrs. Hemphill for a birthday-themed read aloud coupled with time to discuss the highlights of their birthdays. Birthday Buddies is a time students and administrators always look forward to, as it provides a time for relationship building and celebrating!
