A student who has never gone out for basketball decided to join the team this year. One day this student came home nearly in tears; not from anything negative, but for the thoughtfulness and kindness this student’s teammates have shown over the last couple of weeks. These acts of kindness stem from emotional support–cheering on this student and making this student feel part of the team, as well as providing a pair of basketball shoes, basketball shorts, etc. What a great display of Character Counts at ADM!
