15 Years of Service: Thank You, Jessica Nichols!

Jessica Nichols is a 4th grade teacher at Meadow View Elementary celebrating 15 years with ADM this year. Jessica was born in Des Moines and raised in Adel. She received her undergraduate degree and endorsements in reading and social studies from Iowa State University. She received her master's degree along with an endorsement in gifted and talented education from Morningside University.
Miss Nichols has always loved learning and she realized in high school (or possibly earlier) that she wanted to become a teacher. Regarding this desire, she states, “I want students to enjoy learning, find success, and know they have someone who cares and is on their team." She chose ADM because she is an ADM graduate, herself, and ADM is her home. She loves this community and thinks it is a fantastic school district and place to work. Jessica stays with ADM because she thinks it’s the best. She states, “I have deep roots in this community and feel such a connection to this place, the district, the students, and their families.” Jessica enjoys the creativity and problem-solving aspects of her teaching role, but most of all, she enjoys the students and the variety they bring to each & every day. Miss Nichols loves getting to connect with her students and play a part in their journey.
Outside of school, Jessica’s newest hobby is crocheting. She also loves taking walks, listening to audiobooks or reading, and baking or cooking.
Thank you, Jessica Nichols, for your 15 years of service with ADM!
