Krysten is a 4th grade teacher at Meadow View Elementary celebrating 15 years with ADM this year.  

Krysten has completed 15 years with ADM, collectively.  She worked as an associate for Adel Elementary for 3 years before obtaining her teaching degree and returning to our district as a 4th grade teacher.  

Krysten was raised in Michigan.  She attended Cornerstone University and graduated from Upper Iowa University. 

Mrs. Herrick wanted to become a teacher because she loves kids and she wanted to do something that has lasting value.  She chose ADM because they always strive to be more, and she stays with ADM because she loves the people she works with.  Regarding the people she works with, she states, “I love my team.  Each member is a team player, unselfish, dedicated, driven, caring, giving and fun.”

Outside of school, Krysten loves to bike, swim, hike, shop, read, and travel.
