ADM Middle School is excited to share that they have been selected as a recipient of the Trees for Schools award through the Iowa Department of Natural Resources. This initiative is funded by a USDA Forest Service Inflation Reduction Act grant that supports schools in creating greener, healthier outdoor spaces.

Although funds have not yet been released, being chosen for this award is already a tremendous honor. Once received, the grant will allow ADM Middle School to enhance their campus with new tree plantings that benefit both students and the community. Trees not only beautify our grounds but also provide shade, improve air quality, and create hands-on learning opportunities for students in science, sustainability, and environmental stewardship.

We are proud of our staff for pursuing this opportunity and look forward to celebrating with students when planting begins. This project will grow lasting benefits for ADM students today and for generations to come!
