Amy Hockenberry is celebrating 5 years of service with ADM this year.

Amy is currently a preschool associate at Adel Elementary School.  She was born in Guthrie Center and raised in the Panora area.  She went to ISU where she majored in child, adult, and family services.  Prior to ADM, Amy worked for Wichita State University Child Development Center as a lead toddler room teacher.  She wanted to work in a school because she loves kids.  Regarding this passion for working with children, she states, “It is truly an honor to have a front row seat to their learning.  Their excitement in accomplishing something new makes me excited, too!”

She chose to work for ADM because she lives in the district and was enjoying volunteering at the elementary school when her boys were young.  She stays because she loves the community, the schools, the people she works with, and she enjoys making new connections with students and families every year.

Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time with her family and watching her boys do the things they love.  She also enjoys yoga/working out and very casually playing tennis.

Thank you, Amy, for your 5 years of service with ADM!
