Meadow View GATE students participated in a contest called Law Day sponsored by The Polk County Bar Association. This contest gives Polk County area students a chance to get creative with the law as part of their annual Law Day celebration. The 2025 Law Day theme focuses on the idea of “Out of Many, One” – which urged students to take pride in a Constitution that bridges our differences to bring up together as a united nation.
There were 13 projects submitted and 3 of them stood out as top three in their categories. The winners were:
- Essay – 1st Place – Keeley Stone
- Technology – 1st Place – Parker Jorgenson and Colin Morain
- Technology – 2nd Place – Zephen Livingston, Lawton Pitzen, McCormick Book, and Abram Todd
