Kimberly Anderson is the principal at Adel Elementary School.  She grew up in Clinton, IA.  School was always one of Kimberly’s favorite places as a child and she wanted to create an environment where children would love to come and learn as much as she did.  She graduated from University of Iowa with her BA and she received her 2 MA degrees from Viterbo University.

Kimberly has completed 20 years of her teaching/administration career at ADM, collectively.  She taught 2nd and 1st grade for 10 years at Adel Elementary, she spent a year as an Assistant Principal for Waukee Schools, then returned to ADM as Assistant Principal for Adel Elementary and DeSoto Intermediate School for 3 years before becoming the Principal at Adel Elementary, where she has remained for the past 7+ years.

Kimberly stays at ADM because of the people.  As she passionately states, “The students, families, and staff at ADM are simply the best.  Not only is it a place I want to come to work at each day but it is a place where I want my own three children to learn and grow each day, as well.”

Outside of the school day, Kimberly enjoys spending time with her husband and their 3 children.  She also enjoys reading and loves hanging out with her family and friends.

Please help us thank Kimberly Anderson for her support and 20 years of service to the ADM community.
