Jeanette Pfrimmer is a Music Teacher at Adel Elementary School and Meadow View Elementary School, serving our Pre-Kindergarten through 4th Grade music students.  She is celebrating 10 years with ADM and 15 years teaching musical education.  Prior to ADM, Jeanette taught in Deer Park, TX (a suburb of Houston) for 4 years, and spent 1 year teaching at Iowa Christian Academy in West Des Moines.  Growing up in the small town of Malvern, IA, she grew to love small town life.  She chose ADM because she and her husband were looking for a place to call home and start a family.  She’d heard many wonderful things about ADM and was impressed by the positive and dedicated staff she met during her interview process.  Jeanette lovingly recalls her first year as a music teacher at Adel Elementary being on a cart (due to construction), she had her cart decorated to the max, complete with a tu-tu that was made up of her movement scarves.

Music has always been a passion for Jeanette and it always brought her joy when she was growing up.  She knew she wanted to help children find that same joy.  As she says, “What could be a better career than helping littles find joy in making music along with becoming great musicians?  It’s so fun!”  Regarding her favorite part of her role with ADM, she states, “I enjoy having the privilege of being the first music experience for our littlest musicians.  It is so much fun seeing them blossom into joyful, literate, and creative musicians in just a few short years.”

Outside of work, Jeanette enjoys spending time with her family, powerlifting, camping, and cooking/baking.  She and her husband compete in powerlifting together and they will both be competing in a national competition this month.

Thank you, Jeanette Pfrimmer, for your passion and for your 10 years of service with ADM!
