Tyler Kubiak joins ADM as a Family and Consumer Science Teacher at ADM High School and ADM Middle School!  Tyler graduated from Iowa State University and The Iowa Culinary Institute.  He is starting his first year of teaching.

Growing up, Tyler went to Waukee/Van Meter.  Being close to the area, he knew people who attended ADM and they always spoke very highly of the schools and the community.  He chose ADM for that reason as well as to be closer to his family.  Tyler has always had a passion for cooking but when he got out of culinary school he felt like he wanted more, so he started looking into different programs and found FCS.  Tyler recalled taking FCS courses in high school and when he was at ICI, he assisted his old high school teacher.  While he was assisting her, she told him how well he did and suggested he consider teaching.  He still had that on his mind when he graduated.  Tyler shared, “Next thing you know, I am working towards something I never knew I wanted to be, but was sure it was the right choice.”  Outside of Tyler’s classroom, he enjoys hanging out with his friends and family, playing golf, and (of course) cooking.

Please help us welcome Tyler Kubiak to ADM!
