About Us

Meadow View Elementary opened its doors in August 2021 and is one of five schools in the ADM district, serving all students in grades two, three and four.  We educate approximately 500 students and are committed to low class sizes, which typically run around 22 students per classroom.  In addition to the general education staff, we also support our school community with services in the areas of Gifted and Talented Education, Special Education, Title 1 Reading, English as a Second Language (ESL), School Counseling, Music, Physical Education, Computer Science, Art, and Media Center.

Meadow View teachers are committed to providing our students with a quality education.  Teachers see themselves as learners and are engaged in on-going professional development.  We are continuously learning about best practices in all content areas with a strong focus in literacy and mathematics.

Grade level teams have determined the most essential learning standards for each content area.  We call these Power Standards and while they do not represent all standards that are taught, they represent the most essential learning that students need to reach high levels of learning.  Parent communication about student development is important and reported with frequency.

It is a privilege to be part of a community where students, parents, and teachers care for one another and build positive relationships that provide academic and social growth.   Whether you choose to become involved in our Watch DOGS program, attend musical concerts, join your child for lunch or volunteer in our classrooms, we know that you will clearly see why Meadow View Elementary is a remarkable school.
