www.starfall.com -supports literacy and math growth (alphabet, books, word families, addition, subtraction, math story problems)

www.abcya.com -children can listen to short stories read aloud to them as they follow along with the highlighted text. ABCya! has a variety of educational games in addition to the featured stories. Free resources and materials are available for grades K through 5.

http://ngexplorer.cengage.com/ngyoungexplorere/index.html  -National Geographic Young Explorers is a magazine designed specifically for kindergarten and first grade students. Children can listen to the magazine being read to them as they follow along with the highlighted text. It is a great way to bring interesting non-fiction stories into reading center time.

www.pbskids.org –educational games, videos, and activities in the areas of math and literacy with familiar T.V. characters.

FarFaria Storybooks- Library of Children’s Books and Read Along: FarFaria offers thousands of picture books and new stories every week, so it’s easy for parents and tons of fun for kids.

Math iPad Apps:

Pattern Game-This is a free fun iPad app that generates unique picture pattern games. These pattern games are fun and challenging for kids to identify and complete patterns.

Handwriting:

Little Writer-Little Writer is a kid friendly and a super fun app where your child will learn how to form their letters correctly by using their finger to trace letters.
