The ADM Schools transportation department works hard to provide safe and efficient transportation services for students throughout our district, transporting about one thousand students to and from school and school activities each day. Your child’s safety is the top priority for our entire transportation staff.
The district provides free transportation to students in grades K-8 living more than two miles from their assigned schools (as determined by primary residence), and in grades 9-12 living more than three miles from ADM High School.
All students who will receive bus transportation services must be registered via Infinite Campus Online Registration. Registration is necessary in order to:
- secure a seat on the bus for the student
- generate a bus pass that must be presented to the bus driver
- ensure that pickup/drop off locations will be convenient
- improve route-planning and equipment allocation efficiency
- promote safety by ensuring that bus rosters are up-to-date at all times
Bus stop placements are determined by the Transportation Department, and are based on established criteria. Current riders may or may not be assigned to the same stop used previously. Riders will be assigned a bus stop determined by one address for AM and PM. Multiple pick up and drop off locations cannot be assigned to any student. Under the State of Iowa code #285.1-4: Districts are not required to maintain seating space on school buses for students, if the students do not or will not regularly utilize the Districts transportation service for extended periods during the school year. Riders are required to carry a bus pass for boarding the bus.
Routes are finalized in late summer. You will be notified in August via email regarding the stop location(s) and time(s). This information may also be viewed on the Infinite Campus portal by clicking the Transportation tab for each child. Bus passes will be distributed via mail or in person before the first day of school.
Transportation Registration Changes
If you need to make changes to your student’s address or morning and afternoon routine during the year, please submit these changes using the button below. This is only for changes and is not for initial transportation registration. Please give at least 5-7 days notice if possible. You will be notified of the new transportation information once the changes have been made.
Your address of record can only be changed in Infinite Campus by the District Office for residency and mailing purposes. The changes indicated on this form may be subject to verification with the District Office before transportation changes are made. To request an address OR phone number be changed by the District Office, please log into your Infinite Campus portal account and click the “Update” button next to the information that is changing.

2018-19 Transportation Requests will be part of your online registration requirement completed through your Infinite Campus parent portal.
