|Fall 2020 Livestream Event|
ADM Drama is proud to present our fall one acts via STREAMING! For the first time ever, you can enjoy our productions from your own home. “Please Don’t Be My Drama Teacher” tells of drama students without a director. With no budget for a new one, the presidents of the drama club must interview an eccentric group of classroom teachers in search of a replacement. “The Audition” satirizes all elements of theater auditions. This show features hilarious, quirky characters and powerful monologues about the role theater plays in the lives of actors longing to express themselves.
When: December 18-20
How: These shows will be streaming on-demand AT THIS LINK the weekend of Dec. 18th-Dec. 20th. Create your FREE account on Broadway on Demand, purchase a $5 individual or $10 household access to our production, and enjoy at a time that works for you!
ADM Drama Department: ADM Drama Students can be found almost year-round working hard to bring theater to the ADM community. Our Fall season runs from auditions in August to performances in November. Our Spring season begins in January and ends with a mid-April show. We try to explore a wide range of theater styles—dramas, comedies, musicals, straight plays, one acts, contemporary, and traditional shows. Roles for each production are filled by 9th through 12th graders using a competitive audition process. Any student who is not cast is encouraged to participate on one of various production crews.
Our students train to run all parts of the production, including a student director, a student stage manager, a lighting crew, a sound crew, a makeup crew, a hairstyle crew, a costume crew, and a stage crew. ADM Drama offers many opportunities for students to learn new skills and exhibit their talents.
